NIXON’S STAR WARS WATCHES LET YOU SHOW YOUR ALLIANCE
With only a few months until its December release, a whole host of companies orbiting the Star Wars 7 universe are about to release their commemorative memorabilia. However, from what we’re seeing so far, they’re a whole lot more stylish than your average movie tie-ins (hardly surprising considering Hans Solo is arguably the crown prince of dystopian style). For proof, take a look at Nixon’s limited edition Ranger watches.
Released for Comic Con over in the America, these two new riffs on the Ranger model come in Stormtrooper White and Imperial Pilot Black
Stormtrooper white has custom bezel geometry inspired by Stormtrooper utility belts, custom hands inspired by the Stormtooper’s helmet ventilation system, an Imperial marker at 12 o’clock and a custom case with “move along” engraved on the back.
Imperial Pilot Black comes with all this, plus a contrast red date dial and custom case back art with the Imperial Pilot phrase “crash and burn” engraved onto the back.
Whichever side you pledge allegiance to, you’re going to want to get your order in quickly: a very limited number of the watches have just gone on sale online now and the virtual doors will shutter tomorrow. After that you’ll have to wait until the full collection to be released this September worldwide. You’ve got a few hours – may the force be with you.
